What is Bhakka?
Bhakka, a traditional dish of the Koch Rajbanshi community, is one of the most popular dishes of Eastern Nepal, which is eaten more especially in winter. In recent times, the practice of eating bhakka has become widespread as everyone prefers having it. After the custom of eating bhakka, which is limited only to the royal caste, became popular among all castes, it is celebrated on 29th of Poush to celebrate Bhakka Day with promotional programs.
