Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Potential for Heavy Rainfall

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently slightly north of its average position (near Nepal in the western part of Nepal). Additionally, there is an influence from the low-pressure area formed around Uttar Pradesh.

Due to this, Madhesh Province is experiencing partial cloudiness. Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces are generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is occurring in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Provinces, and in one or two places in Sudurpaschim Province.
