Magar Kham Language Education Begins in 14 Schools in Myagdi

Myagdi. Magar Kham language education has started in रघुगङ्गा Rural Municipality of Myagdi. Magar Kham language education has been started in class 1 in 14 schools in settlements with a majority of the Magar community.

The 'Gemi Magar Kham' book prepared by Nepal Punmagar Society with the support of रघुगङ्गा Rural Municipality has been handed over to the schools, said the chairman of the Rural Municipality, Bhab Bahadur Bhandari. “The book has been prepared and education has been started for the conservation, revival, and inter-generational transmission of the Magar Kham language,” he said, “The book includes vocabulary that is most used in children's daily conversation and livelihood.”
