Road Accidents Increase in Tanahun Over Three Fiscal Years

Tanahun. As the Prithvi Highway connects the major cities of the country, thousands of vehicles pass through Tanahun daily. Looking at the data of the last three financial years, the graph of road accidents in the district has been continuously rising. Not only the number of accidents, but the human casualties caused by them are also equally serious.

According to Police Inspector Pradip Thapa of the District Traffic Police Office, Tanahun, 78 vehicle accidents occurred in the financial year 2082/83. In these accidents, 57 people lost their lives, while 65 were seriously injured and 47 were minorly injured.
