Prachanda States Sacrifice of Suresh Wagle and Bhimsen Pokharel Fueled People's War

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has stated that the sacrifices of martyrs Suresh Wagle 'Basu' and Bhimsen Pokharel 'Vairagi' provided new energy to the movement against the then state power and played a significant role in taking the People's War to new heights.

Addressing the 27th memorial assembly of martyrs Suresh Wagle and Bhimsen Pokharel organized in Kathmandu, Chairman Prachanda said that the day Wagle and Pokharel attained martyrdom in Gorkha in 2056 BS was an extremely important day for the Nepali revolutionary movement.
