Singapore PM Lawrence Wong's Salary to Increase by Approximately $1.1 Million USD

Kathmandu. Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, the world's highest-paid political leader, will see his annual salary increase by approximately 1.1 million US dollars.

The Singapore government has decided to increase the salaries of ministers and other high-ranking government officials, including the Prime Minister. Under the new arrangement, Prime Minister Wong's annual salary package will increase from 2.2 million Singapore dollars to approximately 3.6 million Singapore dollars. This increase is more than 60 percent.
