Constitutional Amendment Debate Report Submitted to Prime Minister's Office

Kathmandu. Two months have passed since the report prepared by the task force for the purpose of amending the constitution was submitted to the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office, but the government has not made it public. A task force was formed on Chaitra 16 to prepare a 'Constitutional Amendment Debate Paper' under the convenership of Asim Shah, the chief political advisor to Prime Minister Balen Shah.

The task force conducted 22 formal and other informal meetings, gathered suggestions directly and indirectly, and submitted the report on Asar 32. However, the convenor of the task force, Asim Shah, informed that the report is still under study and will be made public at an appropriate time.
