Fugitive Convicted of Manslaughter Arrested in Morang

Biratnagar. Morang police have arrested a defendant who absconded from prison after being sentenced to 25 years in jail for a manslaughter case. The arrested individual is Dhruv Bahadur Bhujel, a resident of Ward No. 2, Necha Salyan Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu.

According to the District Police Office, Morang, the Solukhumbu District Court had sentenced Bhujel to 25 years in jail and a fine of 1 lakh rupees for the manslaughter case. He had absconded from the Central Jail, Jagannathdeval, Kathmandu, during the 'Jenggi movement'.
