Suspect Dies After Firing at Secret Service Agents Outside White House

Washington DC. A suspect fired shots at Secret Service agents outside the White House in Washington DC on Saturday evening. The suspect died in the retaliatory action by security forces.

According to the Secret Service, around 6 PM local time on Saturday, near 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, a person suddenly started firing shots after taking out a weapon from their bag. The suspect was injured in the immediate retaliatory action by the agents. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. A bystander was also injured in the shooting incident. His condition is said to be critical. No one from the security forces was injured.
