Sashastra Prahari Seizes Over 1.5 Quintals of Marijuana Near India-Nepal Border

Siraha. Sashastra Prahari Bal Siraha has recovered more than one and a half quintals of banned narcotic drug marijuana. From the Nepal-India border area in Itatar, Aurahi Rural Municipality 4 of the district, one quintal 57 kg 207 grams of marijuana was recovered by the patrol team of Sashastra Prahari Bal Nepal Number 7 Gan Head Quarter Siraha at 1:35 AM last night.
The individuals were carrying it on their heads illegally from Nepal to India and fled upon seeing the team, and the banned narcotic drug marijuana was recovered, informed Number 7 Gan Chief SP Sumonjung Thapa. He stated that 8 bundles of marijuana packed in plastic and tied with cloth were recovered.
