Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Bidushi Rana Questions Government on Flood Aftermath Response

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Bidushi Rana has raised serious questions to the government about rescue, relief, reconstruction, and the impact on the economy after floods and landslides. Speaking at a meeting of the Federal Parliament's Finance Committee on Wednesday, MP Rana drew the government's attention to the delay in rescue efforts, the safety of women and children in holding centers, the source of budget for reconstruction, and relief for the hydropower sector.

MP Rana questioned the government about the status of search operations, stating that a large number of citizens are still missing. "On what basis has the search operation been stopped in hydropower projects like Trishuli Three A? If it has been stopped, why?" she asked.
