Nepal restores power, rebuilds links in flood-hit Rasuwa and Nuwakot

Electricity has returned to more communities as the Nepali Army works to install a temporary bridge after floods destroyed key infrastructure.

The government has stepped up efforts to restore electricity and transport links in areas devastated by the August 26 floods in the Bhotekoshi river, with power supplies restored to more communities in Nuwakot and a temporary bridge being installed to reopen a key road.
