Kathmandu. Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting, Ranjoo Darshana commented on the devastating flood in Bhote Koshi and drew the government's attention. She equated this disaster to 'poison swallowed without eating' and emphasized the need to raise a voice in international forums for compensation and justice.
In the House of Representatives meeting, Darshana said, 'The Bhote Koshi flood and the damage it has caused are like poison swallowed without eating for us. This is a huge price Nepal has to pay due to the effects of climate change. We can no longer remain silent; there is no alternative but to raise the issue of climate justice at the international level.'
