Industry Minister Yadav Cites Gas Tycoons' Non-Cooperation for Kathmandu Shortage

Kathmandu. Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has stated that there is a problem in the supply of gas in the Kathmandu Valley due to the non-cooperation of gas industrialists.

Speaking at a meeting of the Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Interest Committee of the House of Representatives held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, Minister Yadav complained that the government could not work effectively because Nepal Oil Corporation does not have its own gas industry and all 58 industries have been given to the private sector.
