Paris. The world-famous Eiffel Tower in Paris is currently in the news not because of any architectural or tourist activity, but due to an incident where female employees were suddenly sidelined during a visit by a religious group.

This case began on September 5, 2026, when a delegation of about 100 members from the Hindu religious organization 'Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS)' made a private visit to the Eiffel Tower, and female employees were prohibited.
