Special Court Acquits Two in Soil Excavation Corruption Case

Kathmandu. The Special Court has acquitted two people, including the chairman of the school management committee, in a case filed for corruption by excavating more soil than agreed upon from the land of Mahendra Secondary School in Nawalparasi.
A bench of Special Court judges Narayan Prasad Poudel, Hemanta Rawal, and Dilliratna Shrestha has decided to acquit Radhakrishna Chaudhary, chairman of the School Management Committee of Shri Mahendra Secondary School located in Sarawal Rural Municipality-3, Nawalparasi, and Dinesh Yadav from the charge of corruption. The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a case against the school management committee chairman Chaudhary and Dinesh Yadav of Ramgram Municipality-4, demanding a claim of 10 lakh 8 thousand.
