Six Landless Families Receive Land Ownership Certificates in Makwanpur

Hetauda. Land ownership certificates have been distributed to 6 landless squatter families in Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-3 of Makwanpur. This is the first time in Makwanpur that certificates have been distributed to landless families after the formation of the District Land Problem Resolution Committee, completing the legal process on Wednesday.

Chief District Officer and Committee Chairman Basanta Adhikari, Rural Municipality Vice-Chairperson Mankumari Pakhrin, and Committee Member Secretary and Chief Survey Officer of Survey Office Makwanpur Maheshwar Karki handed over the certificates at a program jointly organized by the District Land Problem Resolution Committee Makwanpur and Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality.
