WHO TB Research Center Established in China

Kathmandu. A new global cooperation center for Tuberculosis (TB) research and innovation of the World Health Organization (WHO) has been established in China on Friday. It aims to provide Chinese expertise in the global campaign to control TB, one of the world's deadliest infectious diseases.

This center has been formally inaugurated at the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) in Beijing. It will focus on scientific and technological innovation, disease surveillance, and other areas of TB prevention and control.
