Speaker Aryal Meets Indian Ambassador Srivastava

Kathmandu. Speaker of the Federal Parliament, House of Representatives, Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal, held a courtesy call with the Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava. In the meeting held on Thursday, Speaker Aryal mentioned that the government, formed with the strong mandate of the Nepali people, has completed its first 100 days and expressed gratitude for the significant logistical support provided by the Indian government during the recent elections.

He stated that the relationship between Nepal and India is based on shared civilization, geographical proximity, cultural, and social ties, and that the relationship is further strengthening through various bilateral mechanisms in areas such as trade, security, civil aviation, water resources, and connectivity.
