Nepali Congress Files Writ Against House of Representatives Regulations

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has submitted a writ in the Supreme Court against the House of Representatives Regulations. The writ was filed by Abhishek Pratap Shah, Deputy Leader of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, and Padam Pariyar, National Assembly Whip. Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala informed that the writ submitted in the Supreme Court has been kept for study.

The writ has been filed claiming that the provision in the House of Representatives Regulations regarding constitutional amendment and special rights is unconstitutional.
