Ebola Threat Escalates in Congo with Over 900 Suspected Cases

Kinshasa. The threat of the Ebola virus is rapidly increasing in the African country of Congo. Its outbreak has become serious in the eastern part of the country. According to the Congo government, the number of suspected Ebola patients has exceeded 900.

The continuously increasing number of infections and deaths has raised concerns among health agencies. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also described this outbreak as a major threat to Congo. However, the risk of spreading globally is still considered low.
