Trump: Iran War to End After US Midterm Elections

Washington DC. US President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing war with Iran will end only after the US midterm elections to be held in November. He claimed that the war would end immediately after the elections, and thereafter the price of oil would also decrease rapidly.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday while on his way to Texas, Trump claimed that Tehran would not be able to sustain the war for a long time. He said, 'The war will end immediately after the elections, because by then Iran will not be in a position to sustain it.' According to Trump, the possibility of the currently rising oil prices decreasing before the midterm elections is low. Crude oil prices reached $100 per barrel on Wednesday after the war intensified in West Asia recently. This is the first time oil prices have reached $100 since July.
