Government Approves Response Letter for China-Nepal 400kV Transmission Line Project

Kathmandu. The government has prepared a response letter to be sent to the Chinese government for the implementation of the 'Chilime-Kerung 400kV Inter-country Transmission Line Project' connecting Nepal and China.

The cabinet meeting held on Monday approved the letter. This decision will further ease the path for electricity trade and transmission line expansion between the two countries, informed Education Minister and government spokesperson Sasmita Pokharel.
