Home Minister vows faster monsoon relief with mobile landslide monitoring app

Kathmandu, June 18

Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has stated that this year’s monsoon disaster response will prioritise “public safety over ministerial inspections.” To that end, he said measures being taken include deploying helicopters as well as identifying landslide-prone areas through a mobile app.
