Law Minister Expresses Concern Over Low Rate of Judgment Implementation

Kathmandu. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam has stated that the low rate of judgment implementation is not a natural matter. Minister Gautam said this while speaking at a meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee of the Parliament on Thursday.

'Even though the court has made a decision, its implementation at a very low rate is not a natural matter,' said Minister Gautam, 'We must think about this seriously.' She said that it is necessary to work to reduce the gap in judgment implementation and execution. 'In the current situation, the Director General has also said that the implementation of judgments cannot proceed in this manner. Therefore, there is a need to think about this,' said Minister Gautam, 'After federalism has come, we need to make our structures efficient and effective, the government is clear about this.'
