171 Out of 340 Escaped Inmates and Children Recaptured in Banke

Banke. In the one year of the Jenji movement, 171 inmates and children who escaped from two juvenile reform homes and one prison in Banke have been arrested. During this period, 169 children and inmates have not yet come into contact. They had escaped on the nights of Bhadra 23 and 24 last year.

They had escaped from the Naubasta Juvenile Reform Home in Baijanath Rural Municipality, the Jayandu Juvenile Reform Home in Dudhwa Rural Municipality, and the Naubasta Regional Prison in the district. Of these, 68 out of 115 children who escaped from Jayandu Juvenile Reform Home, 47 out of 78 children who escaped from Naubasta Juvenile Reform Home, and 56 out of 147 inmates who escaped from Naubasta Regional Prison have been arrested.
