National Assembly Member Jagat Timilsina Raises Concerns Over Ministers' Threatening Remarks

Kathmandu. National Assembly member Jagat Timilsina has drawn serious attention to the objectionable and threatening public statements being made by government ministers. Expressing his views in the National Assembly meeting, he stated that ministers have a responsibility to serve and no one has the right to threaten.

Member of Parliament Timilsina objected to Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav's statement of 'turning the gas upside down' to gas traders and Infrastructure Minister Sunil Lamsal's threat to 'break the legs' of construction entrepreneurs. He questioned the government whether these statements are the official policy of the government or the personal impulse of the ministers.
