Heavy Rainfall Recorded in Surkhet's Itram Area

Surkhet. Moderate to heavy rainfall has been measured in Itram and surrounding areas of Surkhet. According to the Flood Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, heavy rainfall was recorded in the said area in the last 1 hour until 5:05 PM on Thursday.

Due to heavy rainfall, there is a possibility of a sudden increase in the water level of small rivers and streams flowing through that area. The Flood Forecasting Division has urged citizens living in coastal and surrounding areas to exercise high vigilance as the increase in water level in rivers and streams can pose a risk.
