Deepak Sah Appointed Industry Minister After Resignation

Kathmandu. 50-year-old Deepak Sah of Sunsari Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality was forced to learn martial arts to fight the discrimination against Madhesis while studying at Pulchowk Engineering College in Kathmandu.

Madhesi students were beaten up on various pretexts. Even when Madhesi students supported India during a match between India and Pakistan, they were beaten up. They would pick fights even if they studied well. They were beaten up even if Madhesis wore good clothes. They were beaten up even when collecting donations for the construction of Saraswati Mandir. Seeing such acts of looking down upon and beating up Madhesi students on some pretext or another, Deepak Sah took martial arts training for their protection.
