This historic hill, connected to the childhood of national hero Bhakti Thapa, has been attracting tourists due to its natural beauty, Himalayan views, peaceful environment, and historical significance. Recently, the arrival of electricity from the national transmission line has added a new dimension to Harsingdanda's identity.

The Nepal Electricity Authority, Lamjung Distribution Center, expanded the national transmission line to Harsingdanda a few days ago, causing the hill to light up in the evenings. Locals, who had been relying on solar power for daily activities for a long time, now have regular electricity. This has not only eased the daily lives of the locals but also injected new energy into the tourism business.
