Police Rescue Teenager Who Jumped From Suspension Bridge in Tanahun

Kathmandu. Police have rescued a teenage girl who jumped into the river from a suspension bridge in Byas Municipality-3, Tanahun. The girl jumped from the suspension bridge in Charghare at 8:30 PM on Thursday.

She was rescued from the middle of the river where she was stuck, DSP Dwarika Ghimire of the District Police Office, Tanahun told Ratopati. A team of 20 police personnel led by DSP Ghimire and 10 soldiers with a boat from the Kali Bhanjan Battalion Chapaghat of the army rescued her.
