Iran's Late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Buried in Mashhad

Tehran. Iran's late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was buried on Friday morning local time at the Imam Reza holy shrine in Mashhad.

According to a statement published on Khamenei's official X account, the funeral was held privately in the presence of family at the Imam Reza shrine complex in Mashhad, his birthplace.
