Karnali Province Government Spends Over 1.5 Billion on Final Day of Fiscal Year

Surkhet. The Karnali Province Government has paid more than one and a half billion rupees on the last day of the current fiscal year. On the last day, Thursday, 1 billion 58 crore 22 lakh 88 thousand was paid.

According to the Province Treasury Comptroller Office, this payment was made after 1 PM on Asar 25. The government, which had paid an amount equivalent to 18 billion 98 crore 89 lakh 20 thousand by 1 PM, has a total expenditure of 20 billion 57 crore 12 lakh 8 thousand in the final figures, said Lalit Thapa, accounting officer of the Province Treasury Comptroller Office.
