Finance Minister States Government Efforts to Remove Nepal from FATF Grey List

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has stated that the government is making a monumental effort to remove Nepal from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list. He said this while speaking at the 28th General Assembly of the Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal (SEJON) on Friday.

He said that efforts are also being made at the international level to remove Nepal from the grey list as soon as possible. He also stated that the government has mobilized a team of 5-6 people, including the Deputy Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank and a Joint Attorney from the Attorney General's Office, to strongly present its side.
