Mechi Highway at Rajduwali Faces Landslide Risk Due to Continuous Rain

Kathmandu. Landslides have started occurring on the Mechi Highway since Thursday afternoon due to continuous rainfall. The road to the district headquarters has been put at risk following a landslide on the Mechi Highway at Rajduwali, located in Ilam Municipality-10, SP Kuldeep Chand of Ilam told Ratopati. He said, 'The road from Mai River to the district headquarters is at risk due to continuous rain.' Although the road is not completely blocked, the police have urged travelers to exercise caution as it is risky. Landslides have occurred at the place called Rajduwali before as well. It has not stopped raining in Ilam yet.
