Gagan Thapa Assures Nepali Congress 15th General Convention Will Be Held On Schedule

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has said that the party's 15th General Convention will be held on the scheduled date. Speaking at a program organized by the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation in Kathmandu on Friday, President Thapa made it clear that the date of the General Convention, which is scheduled to start from October 16, will not be changed under any circumstances.

Dispelling the general doubt and confusion about whether the date of the General Convention would be postponed, President Thapa said, 'We are bound by the constitution, the party's statute, and the court's decision. Therefore, the General Convention will not be postponed by even an hour, it will be held on the declared date.'
