US Diesel Prices Surpass $6 Per Gallon for First Time

Washington DC. Diesel, one of the main fuels driving the global economy, has crossed $6 per gallon in the US for the first time. On Friday, the average price of diesel in the US market reached $6 and 6 cents per gallon. Its price has increased by 8 cents in the last week.

According to the latest data from the American Automobile Association (AAA), the national average price of diesel has reached $6 and 6 cents per gallon. Last Friday, the price of diesel broke its previous record. After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in June 2022, the price of diesel had reached up to $5.82 per gallon.
