CPN-UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet Claims Public Disappointment with Current Government

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet has stated that the public is disappointed with the activities of the current government. Speaking to journalists on Friday after a meeting of the UML's election review and party reorganization task force, he claimed that the public has reached a stage where they want to retract their votes.

He said that public disappointment has arisen within six months of the government's formation. He claimed that the current government was formed by creating confusion among the new generation using social media and algorithms by international powers. He stated that the public is beginning to feel that their decision was wrong due to the activities of the interim government led by Sushila Karki and the current government.
