Syrian People Cooked 'Refined' Food 4500 Years Ago, Study Finds

Kathmandu. While European people of the Bronze Age were mostly dependent on simple thick soup and bread, people in Syria were already cooking and eating 'refined' food by importing various ingredients and using utensils of different temperatures, researchers revealed on Friday.

According to evidence from Danish experts, about 4500 years ago, people living in the present-day city of Hama used to cook meat from goats, sheep, and deer mixed with grains at a low temperature for a long time.
