Lalitpur Metropolitan City Reopens Historic Sharada Library

Lalitpur. Lalitpur Metropolitan City has brought the historic Sharada Library, which was closed after 2046 BS, into operation. Sharada Library, which was in operation in the then Lalitpur Nagar Panchayat building at Mangalbazar until before the 2046 BS People's Movement, had been in oblivion since then.

Lalitpur Metropolitan City has relaunched the closed Sharada Library from its own office building from today. Inaugurating the library, Culture Shiromani Hariram Joshi expressed his belief that bringing the forgotten and dead library back into operation is important and will greatly contribute to the dissemination of knowledge.
