Kathmandu. Extraordinary floods in the Bhote Koshi river in Rasuwa on Bhadra 10 and incessant rains across the country have caused unimaginable damage to road and transport infrastructure.
On one hand, the flood has devastated the Trishuli highway connecting Rasuwa and Nuwakot, while on the other hand, traffic is completely closed due to erosion by the Trishuli river in the Krishnabhir section of the Prithvi highway, considered the 'lifeline' of the capital Kathmandu Valley.
