Senior Journalist Yuvraj Gautam Passes Away at 66

Kathmandu. Senior journalist Yuvraj Gautam has passed away at the age of 66. Gautam, who was taken to the Nepal Armed Police Force Hospital in Balambu in a state of unconsciousness this morning due to respiratory problems, died after his heart stopped functioning during a health check-up, informed hospital physician Dr. Divakar Singh Thapa.

Born in Ilam in 1960, Gautam, who was also a writer, was a former editor-in-chief of Gorkhapatra Daily. His cremation is scheduled for Sunday.
