FAO Preliminary Report on Bhote Koshi Flood Damage

Kathmandu. The devastating flood in Bhote Koshi on August 27 has caused severe damage to rural communities, especially in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts.
According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the flood destroyed approximately 1,800 hectares of arable land (especially paddy crops) and killed thousands of livestock and poultry.
