Senior journalist Gautam passes away

Kathmandu, Sept 12: Senior journalist Yubaraj Gautam passed away today at the age of 66. Gautam was taken to the Balambu-based Armed Police Force (APF) Hospital this morning in an unconscious condition after suffering respiratory complications, where he was pronounced dead.

Dr Diwakar Singh Thapa said Gautam’s heartbeat had stopped, as confirmed during medical tests. Gautam, also a writer, was born in Ilam in 1960. He was a former Editor-in-Chief of Gorkhapatra Daily.
