Government Investigates Nepali Agencies Linked to Malaysia's FW CMS

Kathmandu. The government has initiated an investigation and action process against Nepali licensed foreign employment agencies affiliated with Malaysia's Foreign Worker Centralized Management System (FWCMS).

The Department of Foreign Employment on Saturday directed the 25 licensed agencies listed as 'main recruitment agencies' in the system not to continue their affiliation with the system, to submit factual evidence of their exit from the system, and not to join in a new capacity. The department has also temporarily halted the new pre-approval process for Malaysia for 250 agencies claimed to be listed as 'affiliated' or 'associate' agencies of those 25 main agencies.
