Weather Forecast: Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Currently, there is an influence of westerly wind and local wind as well as a low-pressure area near the eastern parts of Nepal, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated.

Due to this, currently, Koshi Province and the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country are generally cloudy. Madhesh Province has partly cloudy skies, and the remaining Tarai regions are mostly clear. Light rain with thunder is occurring in one or two places in Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
