First Weir Gate Installed and Tested at Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project

Kathmandu. The first weir gate installation and testing at the 216 MW capacity Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project under construction in Rasuwa with direct foreign investment has been successfully completed.

The testing of this important structure in the hydro-mechanical sector was conducted on Thursday in the presence of Rasuwa's federal MP Mohan Acharya, Energy Ministry Joint Secretary Sagarraj Gautam, and Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Tae-yong.
