Government Directs Diplomatic Missions Abroad to Expedite Work Permit Verification

Kathmandu. The government has directed Nepali diplomatic missions abroad to expedite and simplify the process of verifying demand letters from destination countries for foreign employment.

The Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment, through a ministerial decision, has corresponded with all Nepali diplomatic missions via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry stated that it has instructed to provide the details of additional documents required for the verification of demand from the employer country to the employer in a lump sum and to complete the work within the time limit set by law.
