Number of Students Studying Higher Education Increases by 10.9 Percent

The number of students studying higher education in the country has increased by 10.9 percent. In the fiscal year 2080/81, the number of students studying higher education was 672,489, and in the fiscal year 2081/82, it increased by 10.9 percent to 745,770.

According to the Economic Survey 2082/83, among the total students studying higher education, management faculty has the highest at 50.5 percent, while agriculture has the least at 0.15 percent. Students studying in management, education, and humanities and social sciences faculties constitute approximately 80 percent.
