Nepal Cricket Team Returns Home After Winning ACC Premier Cup

Kathmandu. The Nepali team that won the ACC Premier Cup is returning home today. The team is scheduled to arrive tonight at 9:45 PM via Malaysian Airlines, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has informed. The final match played on Saturday saw Nepal defeat UAE by 45 runs to win the third edition of the Men's ACC Premier Cup.

This time, Nepal won the title under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane. Sandeep, who performed brilliantly in the tournament, was chosen as the best player. Nepal will now play the ODI Asia Cup for the second time. In the 2023 Asia Cup, Nepal played against India and Pakistan in the group stage. Both Nepal and UAE have already qualified for the Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
